Role Overview

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to contribute to the design and evolution of Aithon’s software platform that supports multiple digital products. This role focuses on creating consistent, scalable, and high-quality user experiences through the development and maintenance of a centralized design system and UX library.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced product environment and a strong understanding of how to balance platform-wide consistency with product-specific requirements. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver intuitive, maintainable, and efficient design solutions, while leveraging modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows to enhance design quality and speed.

Key Responsibilities

Design user experiences and interfaces for a shared platform serving multiple products
Translate product requirements and user needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma
Develop, maintain, and evolve a centralized design system and UX component library
Ensure visual interaction and usability consistency across all products
Utilize AI-powered design tools and workflows to improve efficiency in ideation, prototyping, usability analysis, and design iteration
Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and align on user experience goals
Partner with engineering teams to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient design implementation
Conduct usability testing and incorporate qualitative and quantitative feedback into iterative design improvements
Establish and document design standards, guidelines, and best practices for platform-wide adoption (covering UI components, typography, color, and interaction patterns)
Advocate for accessibility guidelines (Ex – WCAG, Google Material Design, Microsoft Inclusive Design Toolkit) usability, and user-centered design principles across the organization

Required Experience and Qualifications

3–5 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with complex software products and systems-based design
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, including component libraries and collaboration features
Experience using AI-assisted tools to support design research, ideation, prototyping, or workflow optimization
Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles
Experience working closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams
Strong communication, collaboration, and design documentation skills

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in design, Human–Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing platforms that support multiple products or user types
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
Experience contributing to design governance or driving design system adoption
Ability to manage multiple design initiatives in a dynamic product environment
Interest in emerging design technologies and AI-driven design methodologies
