Role Overview:

As a BA you will be responsible for creating functional requirement and business requirement documents and help delivery team to document technical documentations mapping the business functions. You would be collaborating with all internal teams and clients to ensure there are no gaps in the client understanding, internal architects & delivery teams. Our ideal candidate would have a reasonable domain knowledge and ability to understand the business operations and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients (both internal and external) and manage relationships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Work closely with the delivery team to deliver solutions as per requirements.
  • Work with clients to understand the current landscape, help in creating target state across all business functions and operations.
  • Create a functional requirement and business requirement documents and help delivery team to document technical documentations mapping the business functions.
  • Understand the business process in detail and work closely with architects to evolve a conceptual and logical data model.
  • Bring industry experience to help drive business architecture and solutions.
  • Communicate with business using business language and translate the business requirements in language that internal IT teams can understand.

Preferred Skills:

  • Asset Management: Extensive experience in all functions of asset management including investment strategies, investment portfolios, asset allocation, fund administration, market and reference data.
  • Working experience of process automation and automating business processes.
  • Understanding reconciliation operations around Cash and position reconciliation and hands on experience in any one or more of leading reconciliation tools in the market like Smart stream-TLM, Gresham, Duco, IVP Reconciliation, FIS intellimatch any other AI-ML powered reconciliation tool.
  • Understanding and familiarity financial accounting and accounting software’s like Advent Geneva, e-front, Investran etc.
  • Understanding of Fund NAV and NAV Generation process would be an added advantage.
  • Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends, financial statements, and investment opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for understanding the roadmap, engage with customers, guide and helping delivery team to deliver solutions as per expectations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to asset and wealth management.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
  • Overall experience of 5+ years in relevant domain.
  • Extensive experience in asset management, wealth management, and asset services domains.
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing complex solutions.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
