Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and setting up various functions of the Fund Operations lifecycle including trade lifecycle management, middle office and treasury functions. It involves planning, coordinating, and executing implementation projects while ensuring seamless delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong Fund Operations background, with experience of implementing and managing new processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • 3rd Party Data Integration  :
    • Establish interface to receive data feeds from Prime Brokers, Custodians, OTC Counterparties, Banks. 
    • Ensure that data transmitted across systems is accurate, complete, and consistent. Perform data validation checks and troubleshoot discrepancies in data flows. 
    • Manage and support data integration APIs  and other data exchange methods (e.g., file transfer protocols, ETL processes). Ensure that connections are secure, functional, and efficient. 
  • Project Coordination :
    • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of implementation projects. 
    • Work closely with senior team members to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. 
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. 
  • Client Engagement :
    • Support client onboarding processes by gathering requirements and understanding their needs. 
    • Act as a point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. 
  • Technical Support:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues. 
    • Assist in configuring systems and tools to meet client requirements. 
  • Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews. 
    • Create user guides and training materials for clients when required. 
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support. 
    • Provide insights and feedback to improve processes and enhance implementation success. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in data integration, data analysis, or a similar role, with a strong focus on managing data connections and interfaces. 
    • Experience of working in Alternate Investment Industry 
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet software. 
    • Knowledge of data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL tools, API integration, web services). 
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. 
    • Familiarity with financial asset classes is a plus 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical data and insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data collection and analysis. 
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
