Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PostgreSQL architecture, query optimization, and database reliability, supporting scalable and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and schemas
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, functions, triggers, and stored procedures
Ensure database performance, availability, security, and scalability
Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Manage backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues
Collaborate with application developers, DevOps, and system architects
Implement data integrity, consistency, and security best practices
Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades
Document database designs, processes, and standards

Required Experience and Qualifications

Strong experience with PostgreSQL (version 10+ preferred)
Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
Solid understanding of database normalization and data modeling
Knowledge of indexing strategies, partitioning, and replication
Experience with backup and recovery tools (pg_dump, pg_restore, WAL, etc.)
